Описание: | The authors hypothesize that the RIRS using 150-microm Tm-fiber laser is superior than fiber with larger diameters, as 200-microm Tm-fiber laser or 200-microm holmium fiber laser, in such points as follows: - decreasing surgery time and laser-on time due to possibility of 4.3 fold ablation efficacy increase, which has been shown by Andreeva et al.; - increasing the flexible ureteroscope tip deflection lower pole stones availability; - decreased risk of complications and a better irrigation and visualization due to better irrigation with smaller fiber; - increasing of lithotripsy efficacy and laser beam density by lowering of beam focal spot due to using of lesser fiber diameter |

Irreversible electroporation (IRE) is the method of focal treatment for prostate cancer, which is already proven by FDA as method of the surgical ablation of soft tissue. It has not received clearance for the therapy or treatment of any specific disease or condition. |

Описание: | An active surveillance protocol for patients diagnosed low-risk prostate cancer will be held. We plan to use PSA (prostate-specific antigen) testing, DRE (digital rectal examination), TRUS (transrectal ultrasound), MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) and follow-up biopsies to monitor patients and detect cancer progression in time. |

Описание: | Ongoing efforts aim at overcoming the challenges of conventional transurethral resection of bladder tumor (TURBT) such as the high recurrence rate, difficulty of pathologic interpretation and complications including wall injury. Possible advantages may have en bloc resection of bladder tumor which was previously shown to be effective and safe technique. Use of novel thulium-fiber laser may also provide additional safety and efficacy of the resection. Objective. To prospective assess the safety and efficacy of Thulium-fiber en bloc resection of bladder tumor (Tm-fiber-ERBT) compared to TURBT. |
